And we think Sony might very well be headed in the right direction! Earlier in March, The Japanese smartphone producer released its flagship, the Xperia Z. With great rumors hyping Android lovers before the launch, Sony had every chance to impress large masses of smartphone users thru its launch events scheduled for worldwide releases. After finally getting to see the Xperia Z, we can pretty much say that we were STARVED to get a detailed hands-on with the device!
Fully complying with IP57 benchmarks, the phone is the first ever water and dust resistant phone the Android community will ever get a chance to hold! The camera was pretty sleek too. The Exmos RS sensor provides your shots with that neat touch and prevents the images from being too noisy, even in low light conditions.
While HTC plans to cut down on its count of megapixels by introducing the “UltraPixel Camera” technology, Sony has somewhat took the opposite road by putting in a 13.1 megapixel rear camera on the Xperia Z. Which phone takes the crown in terms of benchmarks and daily life usage; it is hard to tell right now. We will have a better idea of exactly what Sony has in store after Xperia Z is made available for sale. Till then, we can say that the company is headed in the right direction by making sleek, sexy and pretty durable phones which give users the custom Android feel.
