So, my point is…a photo is basically representing a cherished moment from our daily lives. Why not capture it in that perfect snap to turn it into a memoir?
Let the blog daddy teach you how to take stunner snaps through any camera. You are surely going to learn a lot about photography today! For a picture to be a fine piece of art, it should deliver something beautiful and appealing to the eye. Here are four of the most important yet ignored factors we need to keep in mind to impress pro photographers:
You’ve got a great cluster and a smartphone with a nice camera. What are you waiting for? Take some nice snaps! Wait, do NOT add some effects to the picture through your smartphone – you can simply take colored pictures and edit them afterwards in a professional picture editing software such as Adobe PhotoShop.
There is no way a smartphone camera can preserve details if you add a black-and-white effect to it before taking the snap! The preset effects are pre-programmed and may deteriorate the fine details, such as those slithery fine lines on your clothes or those beautiful flowers in the background. Find your pictures very noisy and grainy with effects when you magnify them? Take a picture WITHOUT all those effects and see the difference for yourself!
Again, I’m not talking about mirror-less and DSLR snappers. It’s just about the economic torch lights used as “LED flash lights” in smartphones and digital cameras. Remember, the flash light will again take away the originality and the liveliness of the moment you want to preserve in that picture frame – do NOT use it! What are lights for? Turn on each and every bulb you see in hanging in the room, let the light pour in from all directions and witness magic happen.
It’s my personal experience that pictures taken without camera flash are twice as better as the ones taken with it. Try to avoid blinking that economic LED flasher every time: the more you use it, the lesser the chances of you being able to stun yourself! My advice – bring in incandescent light bulbs to play with. That fine, fine yellow shade is such a beauty to all pics, you are bound to get some snaps which will be appreciated by everyone you show them to.
Wanna know what’s best? Average daylight conditions! Why be afraid to go out in the park and score some stunning pictures? The sun’s golden sunshine along with that lush green grass is something unparalleled, no matter how professional of a studio you opt for! I personally love a little bit of nature in all my pics and this is why people only see the camera in my hands when I’m out.
Want to snap a picture while somebody is sitting on the couch? Do not just stand there in front of them and press the shutter targeting their heads! Bend down, stay on your knees, bring the camera on the audience’s level and then confidently click the button to freeze the moment in your camera lens.
While taking a simple picture of my friends, the girls started shouting “Shahroze, why do you always have to spend an hour pressing that camera button? Do it already!” I smiled and confidently replied, “You will see.” Today, that very picture is the most liked snap of all! (I want to show off but no, it’s not about being an exhibitionist) Taking pictures at an even level is likely to provide you with far better results than just standing upright while the subject is at least three feet below the even lens level. In my opinion, that’s just imbecility at prime.
Picturing the landmass from the top of the Eifel Tower? Keep the camera at an even level and then see the magic happen! Remember, depicting your level is important to capture that stunner. Pointing the camera downwards or upwards to form a slope-like angle is simply the recipe to disaster! Wear those Jordans, put on those Louis Vuitton clothings, take on that Gucci watch – you won’t look good in the pics if the paparazzi don’t keep the camera placed at the right angle.
How? Let me explain. Ever seen that picture while you are smiling looking right into that lens and you wondered “why was I smiling like I have seen Dracula in pajamas?” And remember that click which leaves you stunned while you were simply smiling talking to somebody else? Exactly my point! The more the natural situations are, the better the results are going to be.
Photography is an art; you need to ace it to create memoirs! Why do we hire professional wedding photographers? Why not just take the camera and click some snaps all along? Simply because they know when to pop that flash button and freeze the moment in its most original form. It’s just how detailed your eye is. Look for each and every single thing being displayed in that lens: do NOT let any unwanted person and/or object destroy that very epic moment!
Be confident and believe in what you are doing is your passion. Take photography seriously and you’re sure as shooting going to get some seriously crisp and eye-popping results.
Bored of the same old photos fronting a white-washed wall with the usual black/white clothing? Change your way around that. No need to change your tastes for clothing; why not change the background? Fill some more colors to that frame by standing before a colorful wall! Bring in more friends and your picture is going to be as good as it can be!
Want more? Try something funky! Wear those scary masks and pose randomly (that’s picture perfect y’all!) You will find so many of them under $10 from eBay and Amazon. Buy some and keep them in handy. Let them rest in your car’s dash hood. Whenever you are with your friends and want to click some more photos together, out come the masks to add in style and fun!
